6. Cookies
In several places of the websites www.g-u.de and www.g-u.com, cookies are used which serve to make the site more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files allowing for the recognition of users. They are stored by the browser memory on the computer of the user. Most of the cookies used by Gretsch-Unitas are so-called "session cookies" which are automatically deleted after the user has left the website.
Gretsch-Unitas also uses "permanent cookies" in order to capture information about users who repeatedly visit the website. In this way an optimum user guidance is achieved, and the website user is offered the greatest possible variety and availability of new content. The content of a persistent cookie is limited to an identification number. Name, IP address etc. are not stored.
